What Should My Purchase Order Look Like

Purchase Order Guidelines

How to Format Your Purchase Order

You can write your PO using whatever software you normally use. To help us process your order quickly and accurately, please make sure your purchase order includes the following information:

  • PO Number
  • Garment Information – Style Number, Color, Sizes, and Quantities
  • Logo Name – The filename is especially helpful
  • Logo Placement – (e.g., left chest, right sleeve, hat front, etc.)
  • Thread Colors – Specify the thread colors for each logo. [LINK] Here’s a list of the thread colors we keep in stock.
  • Order Due Date – If your order is for an event, please include that information on your PO so we can make sure we hit the requested in-hands date.
  • Shipping or Pickup – Let us know if you’d like the order shipped or if you’ll be picking it up
  • Shipping Address
  • Your 3rd Party Shipper Number

Remember, your Purchase Order is your contract with us. You can expect us to follow your instructions. If your PO doesn’t have all the necessary information, it will delay your order.

IMPORTANT NOTE: If you have an address written in the SHIP TO section of your PO, your order WILL BE SHIPPED TO THAT ADDRESS. If you want to have it COURIERED or PICKED UP, please write that in the SHIP TO area of your PO. DO NOT put an address in the “ship to” field if you do not want it shipped.

ALSO IMPORTANT: If your order is over 1,000 pieces, please email us (orders@indianacustomembroidery.com) so we can talk about your project.
